3D printed houses
3D printed houses
Value proposition for 3D printed housing:
Affordability: 3D printing technology can significantly reduce the cost of building construction, making it more accessible for a wider range of people.
Regeneration: By incorporating all our knowledge with regard to materials, energy, water, human health, environmental health, place-based design, etc. we can create houses that have a regenerative impact on their surroundings. Humans don’t have to have a negative impact on the environment, we can flip that so places actually get better by having humans there.
Customization: 3D printing technology allows for a greater degree of customization in the design and layout of homes, allowing residents to create spaces that truly meet their needs and preferences.
Community: By organizing as a cooperative where customers have equity, the company can ensure prioritization of the people who will be living in these houses, and we think what our customers want is community, which is why we will be trying to build these houses in groups.
Resilience: Houses designed to last, renewable energy production, and water-harvesting infrastructure can make the houses resilient in the face of natural disasters and other challenges, ensuring the long-term viability of the community.
